The Voice Finds Its Finalists

Here we are again: another season come and (almost) gone, without so much as a hint as to the history between Carson and Christina. (You know those Eminem lyrics are at least partly true.) When will The Voice address this lingering tension that's completely real and not at all taking place just in my head?! Or maybe I am making it all up, because not even the surprise three-way sing-off for the Twitter Save racks up a proper dose of drama. Bryan vs. Mary Sarah vs. Laith? Yeah, there's potential...until Mary Sarah goes and ruins it by trying to be Carrie Underwood.

But even as America gets the Twitter Save right (yay, Laith!), the overall voting goes awry. Who on earth is voting for Adam Wakefield? Why?! Are they hard of hearing? My girl Shalyah should have had his spot, but then again, Jennifer Hudson came in seventh place on her season of American Idol so...see you at the Oscars, girl.

Here's the Power Rankling of the Season 10 Finalists:

  1. Laith Al-Saadi

Pro: He's already achieved Sawyer levels of success, so there's no where to go but up. Also, his win would be relatively groundbreaking, justifying the whole gimmick of The Voice, and earning him a place in reality TV history. That sort of jazz.

Con: Adam would gloat for, like, ever.

    Saved By: Twitter
    Team: Adam

  2. Hannah Huston

Pro: This one goes out to all the pre-k teachers counting down the days to their summer vacation. (They're all renting a bungalow in Virginia Beach.)

Con: This music industry will eat her alive. Even if Pharrell manages to save her soul, she'll still have to wear the Adidas logo on her butt forever.

    Saved By: America
    Team: Pharrell

  3. Adam Wakefield

    Pro: 'merica, am I right?

Con: Ikea packaging has more personality. Besides, the same dude won three seasons ago.

    Saved By: America
    Team: Blake

  4. Alisan Porter

Pro: She's got the voice, and the looks, and the work ethic.

Con: This is going to lead to a Curly Sue remake, isn't it?

    Saved By: America
    Team: Christina

Prettttty interesting (or totally planned) that each coach ended up with a finalist, huh? Do you agree with the Rankling? Who will you be Tweeting for? And who will you miss most?
